“The chance which now seems lost may present itself at the last moment.”
- Jules Verne, Around the World in Eighty Days

Around the World in 30 days [2009]

Well 32 'ish days, I purchased a ticket with seven stop overs, and went on my travels via Japan [Tokyo], Australia [Sydney], New Zealand [Auckland], Tahiti [Papeeta], Rapa Nui [Hanga Roa], Chile [Santiago], Peru [Lima, Juliaca, Puno & Cusco] and returned home via Madrid, circumnavigating the globe crossing the vast Pacific Ocean, the date line and living the 18th Jan '09 twice. Off I went in search of adventure to the most remote Island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean to see its' famous - Moi. From my bucket list, I ticked off Mt. Fuji, Sydney Bridge Climb & Opera House, Bilbo Baggins House in Hobbiton, Easter Island, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, and much more. On the way I slept, eat, talked, walked, rode on scooters, sat on trains, jumped on many planes, climbed to the tops of volcanoes & mountains, bridges & towers, most definitely very memorable life experience.  More than amazing, educating, enlightening, engaging with awesome people on the way. It puts life into perspective, I found my shangri la at home [Daniel - son] and most importantly I discovered me again. I returned home feeling fresh, reset and ready for the next challenge in life, a graphic design role in the travel industry.
